Welcome!

The Pacific Sled Dog and Skijor Association (PSDSA) was formed in 2007 by the merger of the Southern Oregon Sled Dog club and the Cascade Skijoring Alliance.

Our mission is to encourage and promote the sport of running sled dogs and skijoring, both recreationally and competitively, by providing education on dog care, equipment, and training.
Our focus is directed toward the safe and humane use of dogs in harness, good sportsmanship, and camaraderie among those who participate in meetings, demonstrations, gatherings and races.
Did you know that PSDSA sponsors the Chemult Sled Dog Races, Bachelor Butte Dog Derby, Mush without Slush and the LaPine Mushing Weekend? Do you want to learn more about the sport or share your wealth of information and experience? Interested in keeping sled dog racing and skijoring a vibrant sport in Central and Southern Oregon? Come be part of the PSDSA.
